There has been a significant rise in cyber scam during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Our advice can help you spot a scam and keep yourself safe.

In this growing digital age, we have become more dependent on the internet for many of our daily activities. There are both advantages and disadvantages of using internet. Everyday, we see new cyber crimes being reported. It is a proven fact that if we are aware about how various cyber crimes are committed then it helps us to protect ourselves and our family from such frauds. Preventing crimes and protecting women and children in cyber space is the main objective of this initiative.

If you receive a suspicious Email/ Message Text:

The text could be a scam. Read carefully and look for any details that don't seem right.

Don't click on any links or give out any personal or bank details. Stop!

Report and make your friends and family aware too.

Report any suspicious texts screenshots to fraud@htaharyana.com HTA Haryana team will co-ordinate with Government Authority to Stop Such fraud SMS

If you receive a suspicious Whatsapp Call or Facebook call or any other vedio call:

Stop! Do not Pick up.

Hang up and call the company they claim to be from to check if it is a scam.
